Clearance Testing

Post-Abatement Clearance is the process of making a visual inspection, followed by the taking of duplicates of pre-abatement sampling, for comparison, to determine if the remediation work was successful. Clearance sampling is a standard practice in every aspect of the hazardous materials and environmental industry. Though not currently a ‘legal’ requirement for the mold remediation industry, Apex adheres to the guidelines, as outlined by NYC/EPA!

In the mold industry, it is generally the taking of ‘bio-aerosol’ samples for comparison or could potentially be the use of Infra- Red imaging for comparisons.
